RE: Anti-Eminent Domain Initiatives/ Phil Berg / Michael Denny

Dear Mesha,

Reverend Lynnette Shaw, the Libertarian candidate for Lt. Governor will
be here in two weeks and again at the end of the month. Willie Nelson is
holding a weekend fund-raising concert for her in Maui in April. She's
picking up the medicinal marijuana flag and running with it in the
campaign. Let's get her involved with Phil Berg and any others you want
to campaign with in the Bay View. She's cool.

For the rest of the LPSF, Lynette is coming to town and is expecting to
be at our 4/8 meeting. See you all then.

Dear Mesha,

It's OK you don't like "Hi-tea at the Green Room". While I enjoy

such

things, the wild side of the City is enjoyable too. To be honest,
thinking of you wearing "foofy dresses & curls and go to the

Officers

Ball to fish a suitable husband" is entertainment enough.

While I'm straight as an arrow, I'd enjoy the opportunity to cruise
Saigon-Saigon on Mission and 22nd, or the Baobab on Mission and

19th for

Kultural uplift with you and Phil. It's fun to get out of one's
element...for me it's basically work, Church and School.

Let's pick a date on a weekday (Fridays included). Weekends are
immediate family with me. Let's invite Terry Baum as you suggest

Mesha.

Phil....what looks good for you? Let's make sure we get by early to
visit BVHP Village Voice first. Maybe we can combine with h. Brown

for

one of his Friday Salons. Let's invite Krissy, the Green candidate

in

the same race with Phil. Mesha, if you haven't met her yet, she

seems

like a natural ally for you...just like Phil.

Hey...a fund-raiser benefit is a great idea! What a generous offer.
Phil...let's get busy!

Mike

Yeah let's hook up !

Nota Bene:
Hi-tea at the Green Room is NOT my cup of tea.

I'm a social clutz by intention, and shy away from upper middle

class

settings...

My dear Mom would force me to wear foofy dresses & curls and go to

the

Officers Ball to fish a suitable husband, Tom Boy would pout,
glaring at the boys and lusting after the girls, mortified in her
ridiculous attire…To this day I cringe at social gathering,

although

the chances to catch in this setting or other have dropped to
nothingness approaching my 60's (relief LOL)

A walk, a funny movie? I have not been in a movie theater since

Idriss'

murder.... Anyway it might not be the best alternative, for Phil

with

his vision impairment. Concert? My favorite: Debussy, Stravinsky,

Sati,

Bartok, and anykind of down under Blues ! Dinner? My fav gay
establishment Saigon-Saigon on Mission and 22nd, or the Baobab on
Mission and 19th for Kultural uplift !

Would love to have you both visit our office on 3rd and Palou. The

radio

station is up: BVHP VILLAGE VOICE

How about a fundraiser benefit for Phil? I'm game !

Would also like to ask my friend Terrry Baum to join us if we get
together. Have you seen her play "How Green was my Ballot" she wrote
after running for Congress? Terry is Fierce, and Fun, I am so

honored to
