Re: 9/14 Solano Stroll LP Booth - Albany/Berkeley 10am-5pm

Just the simple word “Libertarian” with the torch logo indicating the party, has the advantage of being widely usable in a variety of contexts. If this banner would potentially be available for LPSF use in the future, I’d be happy to have our affiliate pay half the cost, with the approval of our officers (of which Richard is one), copied on this message. We have plenty of funds at the moment.

All,

Attached is: 1) a proposed design for a CCCLP banner, and 2) a copy of the cost estimate from El Cerrito Copy Central to create such a banner.

They need 2 to 3 days to make this banner because they can’t do it in house at the El Cerrito location. We have 6 days until the Solano Stroll, which is our immediate need for such a banner.

This particular design/logo is just a template. It’s quite bland, but it gets the point across. Does anyone have a better design to offer? If there are no strong feelings on the matter, I suppose we could proceed with this one. But, I need your input ASAP.

If I pay the $237 for this banner to get it in time for the Solano Stroll this weekend, is this group willing to reimburse me? (I have already received $40 from Kurt.)

Thanks,
Richard

Everyone,

I have received confirmation that the Solano Stroll Association does NOT provide tables, chairs, or tents/shade. That means we need to bring our own. Is anyone willing and able to lend us these items? That would be much appreciated.

We also still need outreach materials. Joe Dehn, I have met you outside of a BART station to collect LP materials before, is that something we can do again? Specifically, to borrow an LP banner (prefererably not LPRC, but beggars can’t be choosers). We would need to do this before Sunday, 9/14. This is a temporary fix until the Contra Costa affiliate gets restarted and buys its own materials.

Anyone who’s willing to work the booth is welcome to. The more the merrier, I think.

Time is running short, so please, if you have any of the above items, please let me know ASAP.

In Liberty,
Richard Fast
