Amen....while appreciating Harry Browne's position of "the more
government gets involved in abortion, the more likely it is that men
will soon be having them", it is my hope that the people of this country
learn to appreciate how evil this practice is and choose to end it out
of their own moral and human personal outrage. Some may argue against
state involvement but if the elimination of mass murder was a cause of
the state...I could get behind it.

Or to express Harry Browne's sentiments another way, "When men can
have babies, they are entitled to a say on abortion." BTW, I would
never have had one myself, and when I, as a woman say that, it means
something.

Marcy,
From a pro-life point of view (which I partially hold), isn't that kind of like saying "When women can commit rape, then they are entitled to a say on how society deals with rapists?"

Dear Starchild,
Loved your response because it validates further my contention that
men should stay away from abortion issues. Starchild, women have a
say in rape, because for the most part they are the ones who *are*
raped!!
However, I do admit that my feelings on the subject carry a good deal
of emotional, as well as rational, components.

Marcy
The parallel I was drawing is that men are the actors in rape, as women are in abortion. And of course every fetus aborted has a father as well as a mother, and roughly half of aborted fetuses are male.

Yes, I understood the parallel; just did not accept it! But, that is
OK. There are as many arguments on this issue as there are people!

Starchild:
Of course you are correct here. I'll point out that in India and
China over the past 10 years there are millions of missing little
girls. We'll never get to hear their opinion.
