Yes - you are right for yourself - however from the article itself this sentence tells it like it is:
To commit one's life to this cross-based love - as opposed to a violent, partisan sword-based love with the other as the primary object of sacrifice - in a world saturated in evil, takes great boldness and courage, great faith and trust. It takes genuine heroism.
As a result thereof the article was addressing neither Libertarianism nor Pacificism - but a Way of Life and Love -
BTW: Did you read the article and what's your take on it from a professional clinical psychological point of view? Pipe dream fantasy or something this world could use a whole lot more of of - starting in Wash, DC???
