This is a very good and very important plan.
Retirement benefits are bankrupting municipalities all over the US. New
York City, in spite of having just about the healthiest economy, is going
bankrupt because of retirement costs.
It is difficult to believe that San Francisco plans to increase retirement
benefits in this environment.
Most importantly, this is an issue we can win on.
