The right to privacy, as a negative right, does exist.
However, the term "right to privacy" usually refers to a positive right to privacy. Libertarians do not endorse positive rights.
The conversation we've been having on 73 is confused, since some are referring to it as a positive right and others as a negative right.
The Ninth Amendment protects our negative right to privacy, but does not protect a putative positive right to privacy.
When you refer to a "right to privacy," to avoid continuing the confusion I suggest you state whether you're referring to it as a positive or a negative right.
