I am confused about Proposition 37. I am interested in your ideas on it. I am leaning towards voting for it because I like to know what is in my food. Yet I wonder if it will cause a lot of paperwork and a new government agency and not make our foo any safer. Thanks for your thoughts.

Today on the radio I heard an ad in favor of Prop. 37 paid for by Whole Foods. Is Whole Foods the big food chain owned by a libertarian? I think so.

Richard, Yes, John Mackey, owner of Whole Foods is a pseudo-libertarian.
Marge, Prop. 37 forces businesses, at the point of a gun, to disclose information they may not wish to disclose.
It forces small businesses, unable to afford the extra expense, to fold.
It allows the metastasizing, criminal state to get its claws where it has no business.
If you don't like a business practice boycott the business. It's the libertarian way.
Otherwise, I love Prop. 37!
