This was forwarded by a friend. It's a version of the worlds smallest quiz with the hottest questions of today.
After you ido it it will show a circle instead of a triangle.. Guess who is nearest the middle? this only goes to show that libs are the true midddle of the road moderates, finding a principled balance between anarchy and tyranny., at least some of us.
Just for fun, find out who you most closely align with in the presidential race, based on the questions presented.

Phil,
Libertarians agree with conservatives on some issues and with leftists on others, so in that sense we are middle-of-the-road. But surely we aren't trying to find a balance between anarchy and tyranny! Perhaps between anarchy and rule of law, but the amount of "tyranny" I want is zero.

Poor chioice of words. We find ourselves in the middle of a political spectrum with anarchists at one extreme and tyrants on the other. With apologies to the anarcho capitalists.

There is no "between" there.
Market anarchists do not regard anarchy as having no law, rather having libertarian law enforced by private protection agencies and private courts.

Mike, My nephew makes a nice living providing private security services down in LA. He can put a rowdy guy in a pinky lock and escort him out of a club with a coat over his back, and make it look like he is escorting his best buddy. He routinely handles the roughest crowds in the LA night club scene and is a terrific guy.
Michael,
You make a good point. The existence of "common law" shows that you don't need government in order to have "law."
But I'm still not sure about the "rule" part. Can any person or institution, even law, properly be said to "rule" in an anarchy? If you (or "market anarchists" which I would just call plain old anarchists -- let the more statist-leaning "anarchists" hyphenate their anarchism!) mean "rule" in the sense of "habit" or "custom" (e.g. it's the rule when you go ride an elevator in a group of people you face the door, eyes up), then perhaps a different word should be used, so that no one assumes you mean the kind of "rule" that connotes authority or governance over something.

Starchild,
The law rules, and individuals and market institutions implement the law imperfectly.

"The law rules?" Never thought I'd hear you say that! I thought individuals were supposed to be self-governing, and the law existed to (imperfectly) resolve situations where peoples' self-governing actions bring them into conflict with the rights of others, not to "rule" them.

Starchild,
I agree with your interpretation.
