Poster Commentary

Dear Ron,

Good approach to moving forward. Yes, I do hope all our members take
a look at the poster and provide input.

Your e-mails on the audience for our poster really got me pensive.
Two posters seem too ambitious to me right now in our first endeavor
of this kind (just like two initiatives!) While I was at first
thinking of a poster for libertarians, now I am thinking of one for
the general public, which would make more sense.

The images as they are right now, as I indicated before, reach me
immediately. I believe they would reach the general public also, with
a little toning down (my previous example was the negative reaction
the general public might have at the police laughing during an
arrest). Most people are aware of the groups portrayed in the images,
and how these groups are often treated shabbily. These are almost
iconic images that almost need no further explanation.

However, as you say, what happens next? Does the general public
members of the groups call us expecting legal asssistance? Or
assistance with their immigration papers? How do we "stand up" for
the groups' rights? Maybe somehow indicate the fact that we are
standing up for/against legislation that affect the groups?
