As per my previous note, I don't support the Mayor, the Chief, or the SFBG on this issue. Come to think of it, I probably don't support the above on anything at all. But that's beside the point.
Seriously guys... The uniformed cops spend most of their time dealing with the scum of the earth. Remember a couple of months back, with the violent protesters attacking them and destroying property? It's a crap job. Besides that, the cops here are not like those of say, Fremont, for example. The ones I've dealt with in SF have always been courteous and professional.
Again, I submit prioritization as a winning civil liberties initiative.
Yours, Morey

I'm with Morey here. Finding a specific item in the police code that needs fixing, or requiring that police focus on violent crime before they deal with victimless crimes sounds great to me. Police bashing (or bashing anyone) does not. Also, I am thinking that an initiative that addresses "police culture" necessarily implies that all police officers have a bad culture, which I do not believe to be the case.

I agree with you on prioritization as a winning initiative. I'd be willing to contribute funds to such an effort.

For what it's worth, I also think prioritization of police resources could be an excellent initiative.
