Just heard on the news -- only 36% of voters surveyed by Public Policy Institute favor extending term limits for state legislators. There may be a ballot measure on the presidential primary ballot asking voters to let legislators stay in office for 12 years in both houses (current limits, if I recall correctly, are 6 years in the State Assembly and 8 years in the State Senate).
