Petition To Get RKBA in Calif. Constitution

RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT
(RKBA) Petition Instructions:

1. Printing: Make sure you leave ONE INCH of margin at the top of

the page.

  This is a legal requirement. Go to
http://members.dslextreme.com/users/hoffmang/Petitions/ for the

petitions.

2. Copies: Make one master copy from file, then copy rest from

this. This

is to guarantee that your petitions do not degrade over time due to

copies

being made of copies. If the petitions quality is degraded, the

Registrar

of Voters may reject the signatures. Do not modify or amend the

petitions

in any way.

3. Who can sign:
a. Only registered voters will be counted. Unregistered voters may

sign the

petition if they are to register before June 1 2004.

NOTE: It is recommended that you have voter registration cards

with you

when you get signatures. Pick up voter registration cards at your

county

registrar of voters? office.
b. Make sure the person only signs a petition for the county in

which they

are registered to vote.

4. Clarity: Make sure the address and name are legible on the

petition.

5. Cleanliness: Keep the petitions free from dirt, stains, etc.

6. Hi-lighting: Hi-lighting of petitions is discouraged and may

result in

their being rejected by the Registrar of Voters.

7.. Petition Circulator Duties:
a. The person circulating the petition MUST fill in and sign the

declaration

section at the bottom of EACH petition.
b. The declaration must be filled in USING YOUR OWN HANDWRITING.

Stamped

information such as your home address, etc. will invalidate the

petition.

c. Make sure you SIGN EACH PETITION.
d. PERSONAL APPEARANCE: Dress conservatively and moderately. DO NOT

WEAR

CAMO or shirts with abrasive statements on them (eg, shoot first,

then let

God sort them out?)

8. Cut off date: The last day to collect signatures is Tues June 1

2004.

9. What to do with the petitions when you are done:
