Derekj72,
I believe Ron Paul is being ignored by the mainstream media because he is a threat to the welfare and warfare agenda the mainstream media support. Also, if Ron Paul is elected president he would probably allow alternative media entry into the White House press corps which would provide much needed competition the mainstream media does not want and would further threaten the mainstream media's welfare and warfare agenda. Ron Paul is a threat to almost everything the Left and Right force on us and want us to believe is normal, moral and a legitimate function of government.

I am listening to the George Noori (humungus audience) radio show as
I work, and George said a few minutes ago in reference to the Fox
News event, paraphrased: "Ron Paul continues to outmaneuver the
other candidates, but gets little exposure. America likes the guy!
We have invited him to appear on a future program." My own personal
take on the reason Dr. Paul is not getting exposure is that Dr. Paul
is "different" and audiences are more comfortable with the familiar.
Same old same old is a safe bet that perhaps most news outlets would
rather stick to. Unless, of course, we are talking about something
outrageous they can insert for laughs, but not serious consideration.
