Nanny States of America – Parents Arrested for Letting Kids Play on Beach, Girl Given Detention for Hugging Friend Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST Charles Smith and Lindsay Pembleton of Niagara Falls were vacationing with their kids on Cape Cod. The boys wanted to stay at the beach for a little longer rather than walk back to the nearby campground (which is, according to one commenter, accessible via a car-free path). The parents said okay, but told them they couldn’t go in the water, according to The Cape Cod Times. By the time a lifeguard spot the children, they were—gasp—wet from the rain. What’s more, they were “standing around a food truck with no adults in charge.” Thankfully, the police were called before any of that wetness and unsupervised food trucking could escalate into something worse. |
“Municipal crack cocaine” Chicago’s crony red light camera scam (Video) Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST Cities try to jack drivers at every turn. Chicago is particularly bad. |
MI5 Secretly Collected Phone Data for Decade Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST MI5 has secretly been collecting vast amounts of data about UK phone calls to search for terrorist connections. The programme has been running for 10 years under a law described as “vague” by the government’s terror watchdog. It emerged as Home Secretary Theresa May unveiled a draft bill governing spying on communications by the authorities. |
Unsettling Finding from CDC Investigation: Tapeworms Can Transmit Cancer Cells to Humans Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST The case — the first known transmission of cancer cells from a parasite to a human — involves an HIV patient from Colombia who developed multiple, large tumors in various parts of his body. Local doctors biopsied those tumors and found that the cells acted like cancer cells in their destructiveness but were strange in other respects. For one, they were about 10 times smaller than normal human cancer cells. The doctors contacted the CDC for help. |
Crime Stoppers Looking to Kids to Snitch Solve Crimes Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST It sounds odd, but it’s worked in Detroit and now it could be coming to your child’s school. The anonymous crime tip service launched Project Safe Campus for students in Genesee County on Wednesday. |
Iran Buys Jets From UK To Fly Spy Commandos To Syria In Violation Of Nuke Deal Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST If you were Tehran, you’d have a lot of incentives these days to simply ignore the terms of the “landmark” P5+1 nuclear deal on the way to cementing your regional influence. For starters, preserving the Assad government in Syria takes precedence over almost all other concerns so it’s really immaterial whether the Iranian ground incursion in support of Syrian forces is compatible with the nuclear agreement or not. That is, making sure that the Shiite crescent remains intact is of the utmost importance and if protecting Assad and Hezbollah means putting troops in Syria and enraging the US, then so be it. |
Bank Of Ireland Bans “Small” Cash Withdrawals At Branches Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST As central planners the world over grapple with the effective “lower bound” that’s imposed by the existence of physical banknotes, there’s been no shortage of calls for a ban on cash. Put simply, if you eliminate physical currency, you also eliminate the idea of a floor for depo rates. After all, if people can’t withdraw paper money and stash it under the mattress, then interest rates can be as negative as the government wants them to be in order to “encourage” consumption. If, for instance, you’re being charged 10% for saving your money, then by God you will probably spend that money rather than see the bank collect a double-digit fee just for holding on to your paycheck. |
Clinton Signed NDA Laying Out Criminal Penalties for Mishandling of Classified Info Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST As the nation’s chief diplomat, Hillary Clinton was responsible for ascertaining whether information in her possession was classified and acknowledged that “negligent handling” of that information could jeopardize national security, according to a copy of an agreement she signed upon taking the job. A day after assuming office as secretary of state, Clinton signed a Sensitive Compartmented Information Nondisclosure Agreement that laid out criminal penalties for “any unauthorized disclosure” of classified information. |
How Law Enforcement Can Use Google Timeline To Track Your Every Move Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST THE RECENT EXPANSION of Google’s Timeline feature can provide investigators unprecedented access to users’ location history data, allowing them in many cases to track a person’s every move over the course of years, according to a report recently circulated to law enforcement. “The personal privacy implications are pretty clear but so are the law enforcement applications,” according to the document, titled “Google Timelines: Location Investigations Involving Android Devices,” which outlines the kind of information investigators can now subpoena. |
College Student Tackled in Her Desk By Cops Because She Smoked a Cigarette Outside Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST Slammed to the ground and manhandled on video, a former student filed a civil rights lawsuit in federal court Thursday against two campus police officers for using excessive force and threatening to fire a Taser at another student recording the arrest. Warned for smoking a cigarette outside, the student was followed into the class and arrested for trespassing after showing the cops her student ID. On December 7, 2014, Jaclyn Pazera stepped outside during a break between classes with several of her classmates from the College of DuPage to smoke cigarettes. According to Pazera’s lawsuit, Officer Vallardes approached the group and gave them a verbal warning for smoking on campus. After Vallardes asked Pazera and her classmates for identification, Pazera told the campus cop that she had accepted his warning, put out her cigarette, and began walking to class. |
Disney Documentary Attempts to Shame Christians into Giving Up Firearms Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST Abigail Disney, the grandniece to Walt Disney, not-so-subtly promotes gun control and disarmament of the American populace in her directorial debut “The Armor of Light.” The film follows the transformation of Reverend Rob Schenck, a pro-life pastor who begins “questioning whether being pro-gun is consistent with being pro-life,” according to the film’s description. |
Dear Fellow Americans: Do You Have Any Idea What’s Being Done In Your Name In Syria? Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST And Americans know that the U.S. “war against ISIS” hasn’t done much, while the Russians have been pounding Syrian targets with jets. But Americans have no idea that the U.S. is deploying fighter jets designed solely to engage in plane-to-plane dogfighting … in order to counter the Russians. And we don’t understand that the U.S. is arming the Syrian “rebels” with should-fired anti-aircraft weapons. As the Wall Street Journal |

Swedish Cops on Vacation in New York Just Showed Americans What REAL Policing Looks Like Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST Four Swedish police officers vacationing in New York City were on the subway on Wednesday when a fight broke out. The train operator asked if there were any police riding who could help with the situation. The Scandinavian patrolmen were very soothing and non-aggressive as they de-escalated the situation instead of escalating it, the way we have seen so often from our own men and women in blue. |
New York Times: “Debt is Good” Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST No, it isn’t an Onion article. It isn’t even the headline of the paper Stan picks up in the opening sequence of an episode of American Dad. It’s actually the headline from the New York Times’ “op-ed” section. Before long maybe we can start expecting headlines that read “poverty is wealth,” “war is peace,” and “freedom is slavery.” |
8 Corporations have Paid $1 Billion or more in Penalties in last 5 Years Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST Eight companies have had to pay federal penalties of $1 billion or more in the past five years, according to a new website dedicated to corporate misconduct. The eight billion-dollar offenders were punished by federal regulatory agencies for environmental, health and safety offenses occurring since 2010, Corporate Crime Reporter found. 70% of Americans Think Crime Rate is Rising … but it Isn’t Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST There seems to be a disconnect between Americans’ perception of crime rates and the actual amount of crime in the United States. A new Gallup poll showed 70% of respondents believe crime has gone up since last year, when 63% said crime had risen from 2013 levels. But government data has shown a downward trend in crime rates from the mid-1990s to the current decade. |

Video has just been released from the Taser camera which was deployed before she fired two bullets into the man’s back, as he lay face down on the ground in full compliance with her orders. |
THE "WAR ON TERROR" IS THE HOAX FOUNDATION OF THE POLICE/SPY STATE Posted: 05 Nov 2015 09:00 PM PST The “war on terror” was a hoax.
