Palo Alto Daily News story on Ron Paul rally

I knew to look for this one because I was interviewed by their reporter at the event, and yes I am mentioned in the article! It's a positive, well-written piece, although as I noted in the comments I think there were at least 500 people there, whereas the article said "several hundred" (technically 500 or more could still be "several hundred," but I think it would have sounded larger, and been more accurate, if it'd said "around 500" or "as many as 500 or more"):

Only 500 attendees?

Really?

Dennis Kucinich attracted about 3x that amount with
his rally in San Jose a couple of months ago.

Cheers,

Really? Maybe that Kucinich appearance was part of a larger event with other people there besides him. The only link I found to a Kucinich event in the SF area that mentioned a crowd estimate was this one about a visit to Hayward during his last campaign, where about 100 people turned out according to this Tri-Valley Herald article:

Considering Kucinich is a liberal and this area is
hugely liberal I am not shocked at all, plus, Kucinich
ran in 2004 and made a name for himself a lot more
than Ron Paul. It shouldn't be that surprising at all.
Now, had Jim Gilmore or Mike Gravel drawn 1500 in San
Jose that would be something else....

Only 3x 500? For a liberal (that to me personally means pledging to
give away whatever it takes) that's about par for the course.

The Ron Paul Rally in Mountain View was high energy! Whooping and
hollering from supporters who wanted government out of their lives,
period. Rather Darwinian, I will admit, but fine for those of us there.

Starchild,

The stuffed monkey labeled "the state" that you wore on your back is excellent symbolism--I love it! It's a great idea!

All the best,
