Laszlo Uriel, a Libertarian on the Pink Pistols list, got invited (he's not sure how but I'm guessing just a random phone call to a registered voter) to this "town-hallish budgetary discussion meeting" the mayor's holding on April 1 at SF State.
He doesn't want to go himself, but can put four people on the list. I've told him that I'm interested, and he'll give them my name. Anyone else like to join me? It seems like a good chance to learn more about the city budget and put forward some libertarian ideas. More details in his message below.

Dear Everyone;
Is there any significance to the fact the Newsom budget meeting is on April 1 - April Fools Day??? Or am I being paranoid??? The secrecy surrounding makes it sound like one of those Bush pre-planned to a T spontaneous meet the people in the street set ups with selected Republican brown nosers.
