As a measure to sensitise people to taxes, I'd like to see election day held on
the first Tuesday after April 15th. Even better would be to replace all income
taxes with final sales taxes, so everytime anybody made a purchase they are
paying that painful and evil tax. A consumption tax like this is better for
investment also. For progressivity, exempt food.
