One vote could decide CAFTA

This seems to me very narrow grounds for trying to block the Central American Free Trade Agreement, which is generally a big move in the direction of eliminating trade barriers. It would mean more competition and lower prices & greater choice for consumers on a whole range of products. Not to mention alleviating poverty in Central American countries, which would reduce perceived need for foreign aid and probably have an impact on the number of undocumented migrants coming to the United States from these countries.
