The leaker of the NSA spying scandal is interviewed by Glenn Greenwald. The LewRockwell.com headline linking to the UK Guardian's story calls him a libertarian:
I cried a little reading and watching this. We are truly fortunate to have someone as calm, intelligent, brave and decent as Edward Snowden in the world, who even knowing what the U.S. government may try to do to him and with everything to lose, risks it all to uphold his responsibility to the people and do the right thing:
One is reminded of the old words about lives, fortunes, and sacred honor. He has stood up for freedom in the world; now it is the world's turn to raise our voices and be his champion.
Please feel free to use any of these quotes in an LP press release, which I'd be happy to help write.

The NYT reported this morning that Rep. Peter King (R-NY) had declared that Snowden would have to be investigated to see if there were "issues in his background," warning signs. One of the first things they will have discovered, of course, is that he donated $250 to Ron Paul in 2012, and that he voted for "a third party" Presidential candidate in 2008. We can guess where that will lead.
You mean Rep King declared that more taxpayer's money will be taken to expand government power, maybe enough money to start a whole new department.
When will expel these thieves and scumbags.

Thanks, Starchild. I was similarly moved.
