The committee that decides on the precise language that appears in the Voter Handbook to describe each measure that appears on the June ballot will be meeting next week (see message below for details and link to agendas and related info).
These meetings are public, but usually sparsely attended. The committee members in my experience do listen to input, whether given in person testifying before the committee, or sent in writing (email Barbara Carr at the address below). While descriptions are mandated to be "fair and impartial", you'd be surprised how much room there is for interpretation and variance on how a given measure should be presented to comply with that mandate. And of course wording can make a big difference when it comes to how people view a measure.
So show up if you can, or pick a measure slated to appear before voters in June and try to think about how that measure would best be presented so as to prompt people to consider it in a libertarian light, then write up your suggestions accordingly. If anyone wants to run their ideas by me, I'm all ears.
