NORM Conference/Materials

Hi Marcy,

I'm planning on going; I haven't heard anything from the East Bay LP
or the Free State Project regarding how much of the cost of a booth
they are covering, or if the FSP wants its own separate booth (last
month you may recall we appropriated $200 toward a booth). I met Dee
Dee Russell of local cable access show Dee Dee TV at a party a couple
nights ago, and she's planning to come there to interview me for the
show.

That's great that Lawrence has provided some materials. I'm virtually
out of ISIL pamphlets, and I gave away all my matchbooks at the
Anarchist Book Fair yesterday, which Steve Dekorte and his girlfriend
and I attended. East Bay libertarian Sharon Presley of Resources for
Independent Thinking was also there, and had a booth. She reported she
did a brisk business selling books.

We really need some new *local* pamphlets and materials of our own.
Why don't you add that as an agenda item for the next meeting.
Meanwhile, any chance we'll have a ballot measure ready to get
signatures at the NORML (not NORM, not NORMAL!) conference? If not, we
should at least have information there about it, and take down the
contact information of people willing to help us get it on the ballot.

Yours in liberty,

Hi All,

Lawrence Samuels, LP Northern CA Chair, mailed us some great articles
on drug decriminalization ("The Drug War: If there is no Victim, Is
there a Crime?", "Self-Ownership & the War on Drugs," "What's Wrong
with the Drug War?", "Should we Re-Legalize Drugs?" He also sent some
buttons with rather interesting slogans ("More Freedom, Less
Government", "The State Sucks Bigtime," "More Government is the Cause
not the Solution," etc.) We could use these to distribute at the NORM
conference....if anyone is going. Starchild, any word?

Regards,

Marcy
