I’m sure you’ve all heard about the unconstitutional Trump administration action sending National Guard (against the wishes of California’s governor!) and Marines to confront protests against ICE abductions of immigrants in Los Angeles.
The LPSF monthly meeting is happening as usual, from 3-5pm in the 3rd floor Paley room at the main library (every 2nd Saturday), or remotely via Jitsi Meet if you can’t join us in person.
There’s also a big protest about the aforementioned federal thuggery happening tomorrow (not organized by us) starting at 1130am in Dolores Park (corner of 18th and Dolores streets) winding up at Civic Center near our meeting location at 2pm. Let me know if you can make it and want to march together!
