Dear Libertarian,
Since the state convention is happening the last weekend of this month
(details below), which is when the Contra Contra libertarians usually have
our social, we have decided instead to host our social on the third
weekend-- Saturday, July 19 at 1pm at Los Moles Beer Garden in El Cerrito. In
August, we will resume our socials on the last Saturday of the month.
This is likely to be our last correspondence with the membership prior to
the upcoming state convention so we are trying to encourage as many
members, past and present, to show up and let your voice be heard. The
state convention details can be found here:
At the convention, we will be electing a new state executive committee. So
far, there are two candidates for state chair: Pat Wright (
https://patw4lpc.com/ ) and Loren Dean (no website found). The other seats
will be up as well. We will also be considering bylaws proposals and,
hopefully, discussing the adoption of a state platform (which was, sadly,
deleted plank by plank in its entirety). With you on board, let’s turn
things around!
