I really don't want to make my campaign about her, because the real issue is not the personalities but policies and the ideas that drive them.
Neverthe less, it is painful to watch her.Distressing, and perhaps depressing, especially when one walks out the door and know that most of the normal people around will vote for her.
But sometimes one just has to laugh outloud.. saurday Night Live could not do it better than her when she says with a straight face ) stretched ,but straight) that she is an outsider bringing honesty to Washington. Outsiders are not raised by the mayor and governor of a major city and State, outsiders don't marry a man who made tens of millions through his access to the money spigots of newly created New York bank notes.Outsiders don't raise tens of millions for other congressional campaigns, and weild access to those funds for personal gain.
Then , at the very end ,she again says that she was powerless to end the war because she did not have sixty votes in the senate. In the very next answer, she proudly recited the tremendous powers of the Speaker, including the power to block any bill from getting to the floor for a vote. There was not a hint of irony. What I can't understand is why the C span anchor did not follow up and ask why she didn't just refuse to send a bill to extend payment for the war???
