4th Annual Panel Discussion Topic: Sanctuary Cities Opposing side
Steve Frank -- he is a writer for California Political Review
http://www.capoliticalreview.com/. Pro side: Contacted David Campos,
seemed interested, but since has been unresponsive. Also reached out to
Adachi, who replied he is not available. Matt Gonzalez, who has not
replied at
all. Then Aubrey tried Sandra Fuhr, but she has not responded either.
suggested to try Kevin DeLeon, but has no response. Also contacted Jane
whose office declined. Most recently: Tim Redman, editor of 48 Hills--
for a response, but not for too much longer.

Aubrey was looking to use the main library as the location, hoping to
have a
room for about 50 people, but it is booked through the summer. Looking
other locations, Aubrey has looked at the Mechanics Institute, the
Church, and the Jewish Community Center.

Agreed on both counts. As Aubrey may or may not have mentioned, I'm having to miss more LPSF meetings lately than usual, as I'm doing a construction training program that has me busy most weekend days, so having the minutes is helpful. (Apologies in advance to the movement for entering the heavily unionized and government-regulated building trade; my more honest employment as a sex worker isn't bringing in enough money, and when I learned of a free training offer for SF residents, it sounded too lucrative to pass up.) On a related note, mayor Ed Lee made a photo-op visit to our training site today. "Creating jobs", lol... When he came by where we were mixing concrete, he made a joke about taking some of us out to fix potholes and I told him he had a lot of them to fix. Naturally I wanted to say more, but didn't want to get in trouble.

Love & Liberty,

Hi Nick. Excellent and timely minutes--makes my job much easier--thanks!
Just a few minor corrections: Sandra Fewer (who was few professional
manners--could have easily had one of her staff members reply that her
schedule is full or some other excuse), Tim Redmond, it was 298 folks who
were sent the newsletter (the number inches up a little bit each time)
with one bounce and one unsubscribe, and I did mail the letter to the IRS
yesterday (hopefully they will respond with the letter we need by next
month's meeting). I consider you a G_dsend!

Starchild, strangely enough, our last 2 meetings have finished right on
time! I had forgotten about your construction training. Forced union
membership and forced to listen to mayoral baloney-how unappetizing!

A couple of follow up issues.

You wanted to know the name of the band with music titled

Self Ownership
Utopia’s Do Not Exist

Also the subject of the LPC convention speaker Patrick Byrne was mentioned. His website is

Deep Capture

He hasn’t updated it for nearly a year but the stuff on it is very interesting.
