Meetup welcome letter

We just had a new person join the LPSF meetup group today; when this occurs I generally try to send the individual a direct message via the site, or call/email them directly if they have provided their contact info. Here’s the message I just sent, which is fairly typical, if anyone has any input. I’d like to get more of our processes documented including sample letters like this on a restricted-access portion of our website for activists to reference.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for joining the Libertarian Party of San Francisco meetup group. May I ask how you heard about us, whether you're a registered Libertarian and/or party member, your history with the freedom movement if any? Particular issues that you're concerned about or want to work on?

Hope to see you at our next monthly meeting, Saturday June 8, 3-5pm (in person at the SF main library, 100 Larkin Street @Grove, 3rd floor Paley community meeting room, or remotely via JitSi – https://www.meetup.com/the-lpsf/events/301125268/). You're also welcome and encouraged to join our local email lists, lpsf-announce@forum.lpsf.org, lpsf-activists@forum.lpsf.org, and lpsf-discuss@forum.lpsf.org (just send emails to these addresses and follow the directions to subscribe).

Feel free to give me a call any time at the number below if you have questions, concerns, or just say hello, and I look forward to meeting you.
