Former escort, professional speaker and published author Veronica Monet will have Maxine Doogan of the measure to decriminalize prostitution in San Francisco on her Internet radio show tonight at 9:00 p.m. Call-ins are encouraged (see Maxine's message below for phone number and other info).
Meanwhile I will be attending the general membership meeting of the Coalition of San Francisco Neighborhoods to speak in favor of the measure (Maxine and I addressed their endorsement committee on Friday). The committee unfortunately is recommending their general membership oppose it, but we expected them to be a tough audience. Moral support at the general meeting would certainly be welcome. It's from 7-9pm in the Northern district police station community room, on the southwest corner of Turk and Fillmore.
