I'm not sure what more we can say. (-: The Libertarian Party has supported free and unencumbered private association since its founding in 1971. We would prefer that the government not license marriages at all, as was the case before interracial marriage became a threat to the sanctity of same-race marriages, but government discrimination while licensing marriages is utterly unacceptable.
