I agree with Chris's comments as well. We should focus not just on taxation itself, but on the kinds of harmful things government is doing with the stolen tax money that people on the left will likely find upsetting. Chris names several good examples of such things.
Sending out a press release is also critical.
Further, I believe that we should send an unequivocal message that transfers of wealth from the voluntary sector to the government sector are bad, by NOT paying a government extortion fee in order to exercise our First Amendment rights, and mention this in our press release.

Hi Starchild,
I am hoping to get other groups involved, so the event is more effective than 5 of us holding home made signs on a street corner. As with any collaborative effort, we would need to give and take on our Tax Day Outreach Event. Aubrey said he would talk to the Bay Area Tea Party and with the Ron Paul Group; I will see about emailing other groups. So when you say "we should" in this case, please keep in mind a larger "we" than in the past.
I am hoping Aubrey can communicate our plans soon, since Sally of Bay Area Tea Party wrote to her constituents a couple of days ago regarding a Tax Day Event of their own.
Agreed that mentioning what negative effects taxes have is a legitimate Tax Day effort. My hope is that we can do that keeping in mind there are other groups involved.
