LPSF meeting this month CANCELLED

I’m posting the following on behalf of Starchild.

——

Dear freedom lovers,

As the San Francisco main library is closed today for an event – another installment of their periodic Night of Ideas, which you may find separately worthwhile to attend (see Afternoon and Night of Ideas | San Francisco Public Library) – and our regular meeting room there unavailable, I endeavored to find an alternate location for today’s 2nd Saturday LPSF meeting, but came up short.

I had thought we might hold this month’s Libertarian Party of San Francisco meeting at the Frontier Tower “vertical village” or community hacker space at 995 Market Street – also worth checking out – but their manager ended up proving squeamish about hosting a political party meeting. The branch libraries I inquired with that are most suitably located did not have or make a room available either, nor did a restaurant location pan out. I had thought we might meet outside, but the weather forecast makes that inadvisable. Given that a couple of our regulars won’t be able to make it anyway, it seems best to cancel for this month.

For anyone who’d like to chat online by video, I will still log into our remote meeting link from 3-5pm:

However as we lack a location to meet in person, and our secretary can’t make it, I think it best not to have an official meeting this month. We will be back to our regular 3rd floor Paley room at the main library on May 9, from 3-5pm, which as usual you can also attend remotely via the above link if desired, but we hope to see you in person if possible!

Also later next month, from May 21-25, the Libertarian Party’s biannual national convention will be taking place in Grand Rapids, Michigan – https://www.lnc2026.com/. Please contact me if you plan to attend or have any questions about the event.

Love & Liberty,
