Howdy,
I've made a reservation for our meeting this Saturday at Milano's,
across the street from Cybelle's, which several folks have suggested.
They have a much larger, quieter room.
I'd like ExCom approval to (1) officially move the meeting location to
Milano's and (2) spend less than $30 to send a postcard about the new
location to all current members this week.
I just spoke to Chris on the phone; he expressed general concern about
changing a meeting location less than a month ahead of time, but since
this is just across the street from the old location it's fine in this
case, and he agreed about sending a postcard. I'll make sure to update
the website, and I'll talk to the manager at Cybelle's about posting a
sign (or a person) to direct people across the street.

Please consider telling the Cybelle's manager this is an experiment, so if it fails we may wish to return to Cybelle's in Jan.

Well, never mind for now -- bit of a snafu. Got a call from Milano's
saying that the person I talked to previously didn't check the right
book and the back room was already reserved. Apparently both Milano's
and Cybelle's will be infected with soccer kids this Saturday. I did
confirm a reservation for Milano's next month, so let's go ahead and
meet at Cybelle's this week, be creative about dealing with the kids,
and vote as a group on whether to move to Milano's in January. That
will give plenty of time for the proper notification of members etc.
