LPSF Meeting 03/13/10

Dear All,

Hope to see you all at the next LPSF meeting. This Saturday at 3pm at the Richmond Police Station Community Room. This promises to be a lively meeting!!

Just by way of clarification for you all interested in hearing from Phil Berg. The Agenda has been posted and will stay as it is. As of now 10 minutes is allocated for candidates to use as they like. However, we can, as always, extend or modify the Agenda in the meeting.

Also, I have invited Sheila Dean, Phil's campaign manager to drop in if she likes to participate in any discussions we have pertaining to campaigns, campaign financing, and other campaign matters. This rather than meet private with her prior to the meeting, as she had requested.

Regards,

Marcy

Since Sheila and I were the only ones at Tuesday night's Meetup... :-\ I
suggest that we make it up to her by having a good turnout for our
after-meeting social. I know from two years ago (as do Marcy who drove me
around, and other volunteers) that collecting signatures to get a
Libertarian on the ballot against Pelosi is a thankless job and can easily
lead to burnout. I'd like to avoid this with Sheila. Let's show her that
being a Libertarian in San Francisco (she's a fairly recent transplant from
Austin) is not all work and no play. Can we get those who usually avoid our
after-meeting social to join us just this once?

Thanks,

Rob

Hi Rob,

I do not stay past the business meeting, as you all know. However, of course I would allocate time to stay if warranted. So, I commit to stay if the other Ex-Com members will also stay.

Marcy

Yay! Marcy gets 2 votes for where we go for the social.

May I humbly suggest Clement Street Bar and Grill at 708 Clement, the only
place Yelp found within 4 blocks that has both a full bar and a full food
menu (though some of the pubs also have limited pub food)?

I encourage others to search Yelp or other sites for the area around 461 6th
Ave for places for us to go. And lobby Marcy. She gets two votes.

Rob

Dear Rob,

Thank you for your enthusiasm!! OK, so you convinced me to be friendly for a change! Also, you have my vote for Clement St Bar & Grill.

Yes, I do hope others will also come. LPSF used to have a good time at socials (not only the after meeting socials, but the biannual dinners also); then everybody got too busy and fun sort of gave way to duty.

Anywho..see you this afternoon!!!

Marcy
