The minutes state that the cost is 567,000 as 81 x 7,000.it should be 7,000 x .81 = $5,670.

Jeff’s Party link is not active yet. When will it be? Should attendees bring potluck items to share/byob? Hosting is such a huge lift, everyone should assist where they can.

The “Anti-Imperialist #FlagDay BDaySuit ProTest Sat14June2025 “#NoKingsSF’ ‘Herr Emperor has no clothes!’”* event in the City yesterday was a blast; the LP should have been represented at least as well as the CA Natl Party was ( this ONE guy got lots of folks coming up to him — he wasn’t making hard pitches, just waving his flag giddily & gleefully — to to folks asking questions & taking his colorful glossy handout in the few minutes I was nearby ) & their rep gave several cheerful succinct on-point & engaging responses to questions. Unofficial crowd estimates hovered about 100,000 ( locals & out of towners ).

How exactly does this grow the LPSF Membership, boost turnout to meetings & events, increase donations for the the upcoming campaign season war chest, reach out to & engage the general ( offline, not living obsessed in virtual reality ) public ???
Is a new member/donor, likely to say,
“I’m so glad you opposed some insignificant operation, I have never heard of before, & could not name 1 ( ONE ) Member of, in a state on the far side of the Nation, 3,000 miles away, I have never been to & will not likely ever visit [ … unless I attend Dartmouth, or for fall color, etc … ], this really affects My Life in San Francisco as a Tax Payer & Voter & makes me want to join the LPSF & give up more of My Earnings & Savings so you can do more stuff like this!”
LPNH has significantly tarnished the libertarian brand by promoting non-libertarian messages. It’s had a major negative effect on LP membership, donors, efficacy, and broader libertarian movement.
A very large number of libertarians and potential allies are no longer willing to associate with LP because they think LPNH messaging represents who we are.
I wasn’t involved in this motion, but I’m happy about it. It gives me and others reassurance that LPSF remains libertarian.
