LPSF April '21 Meeting ft. Sex Work Rights Activist Maxine Doogan

The Libertarian Party of San Francisco (http://www.LPSF.org) meets on the 2nd Saturday each month, from 3-5pm.

Our regular meeting host will be out of town this month and our pre-Covid library meeting location remains closed, so this month we’ll only be meeting online via Jitsi (a video conferencing platform like Zoom), or call in by phone.

This month our special guest speaker will be sex work rights activist Maxine Doogan, founder of the Erotic Service Providers Legal Education and Research Project. She’ll be discussing the latest legal and legislative efforts in the fight to decriminalize prostitution and related so-called “crimes”.

LPSF meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to come be part of the discussion. However in order to vote on party business you must be registered to vote as a Libertarian if eligible (you can register at http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/elections_vr.htm), and an LP member (you can join the party as a dues-paying member at http://lpsf.org/become-a-member).

Normally we meet in the 3rd floor meeting room at the SF main library at Larkin and Grove streets, with a freewheeling social afterward over dinner at Ananda Fuara vegetarian restaurant (a block away at the corner of Market and Larkin streets), but sadly both venues remain closed due to the government lockdown.

Nevertheless we persevere, and look forward to seeing you online. You’re welcome to call or write if you have any questions. Live free!
