LPCA convention ride-share / room-share

Hello everyone,

As you probably know, the Libertarian Party of California annual state
convention is coming up fast-- July 26-27 at the hotel Mision de Oro in
Santa Nella (Merced County). Details at 2025 LPCA Annual Convention - Libertarian Party of California .

At this convention, we will be electing new leadership on the state
executive committee, considering bylaws proposals (and, hopefully,
platform), as well as fun things like networking, socializing, and planning
ways to spread Liberty in the Golden State. We value your presence and
input!

Is anyone in need of ride-share or room-share? We are trying to get as many
folks there as possible. Please let me know by responding to this email.
Thanks.

Please note you must be registered to vote as Libertarian (or No Party
Preference) and current on state dues ($25 per year which can be renewed at
Become a Member ) in order to vote at our convention. Thank you.

In Liberty,

Richard Fast
Secretary

This is not correct – the LPC bylaws currently require that you be
registered Libertarian “if eligible”. "No Party Preference (previously
called “Decline to State”, what most people would probably think of as
“independent”) used to be sufficient, but it has not been for several
years now.

Examples of people to whom this requirement would not apply, because
they are “not eligible”, would be somebody younger than 18 or somebody
who is not a U.S. citizen. (But those people would not be able to
register “No Party Preference”, either.)
