LP activist speaking at North American Anarchist Studies Network conference

WHAT - North American Anarchist Studies Network conference
WHERE - 1453 Mission Street, btw. 10th & 11th St. (3rd floor), Room 2
WHEN - 11am-630pm

Alan Pyeatt from the Los Angeles LP is in town and will be giving a talk on the Nolan Chart and related ideas, titled "Thought Maps: Anarchism and Graphic Representation of the Ideological Universe". The conference is FREE and open to the public. There were around 100 people on Saturday, according to Alan. I managed to catch part of it with him and they showed a few interesting documentary films on popular uprisings in Spain, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Turkey.

Anyway, he is part of a panel of three, so he'll be on for about 20 minutes during a panel taking place between 130pm and 3pm.

There is, ironically, a building security guy at the front desk who will want to see your ID (non-govt. picture ID okay) and write down your name. The building belongs to the California Institute of Integral Studies, which is hosting the conference.

Hope some of you can make it out, he may need the moral support in a left-leaning "anarchist" crowd.
