Log Cabin for Libertarians?

From the SJ Mercury News:

Paul Lynd, an attorney in San Francisco and the president of the San
Francisco chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans, said he was considering a
vote for the Libertarian candidate instead of Bush.

Does anyone know Paul? Get him! GET HIM!!!

Gary Nolan will be at Pride, if he gets the LP nomination. Will Bush?

Chris,

Yeah, I know Paul. He lives near me, and is a nice older gentleman. Probably instrumental in me getting the Log Cabin endorsement when I ran for Supervisor. And his partner (whom he married at City Hall, iirc) already is a Libertarian. He's aware of us. I'm not sure exactly what it would take to get him to switch parties. I've dropped hints about it before.

Yours in liberty,

Actually, on this, I'm not terribly interested in him switching. I'd
rather have the head of the Log Cabin Republicans supporting our
candidate! He can switch after the election. (-:
