Thanks, Morey, for being a vigilant spotter as usual! I finally got around to doing a web search to track down all my media listings from the sex work conference in Las Vegas myself. There were fewer people at the Desiree Alliance event than at the LP national convention in Portland (150 or so versus over 300?), but I think the Vegas event got more press. It's worth noting that we got it principally by going off site and holding a demonstration and press conference at the courthouse (i.e. doing something newsworthy beyond just meeting in a hotel).
I personally spoke with four different reporters at our press conference, and was quoted on the inside page of the front-page story we got in the Review-Journal (the biggest paper in Vegas), and in a local urban weekly there called CityLife. But the real prize was an Associated Press story which was picked up by more media outlets than you can shake a stick at. None of them mentioned my involvement with the LP, unfortunately, but the coverage was generally positive.
If anyone knows of any coverage from the Las Vegas conference that is *not* listed below (especially if it mentions me personally) I'd be interested in seeing it.
