LNC votes down plan to hold 2016 convention in California after venue falls through

According to Dan Wiener, the Libertarian National Committee has voted to sink an attempt to revive Los Angeles as the site of the party's 2016 national convention, which now looks likely to be held in Florida. While less convenient for us Californians, this is probably not a bad thing as far as the party overall is concerned, since this year's convention is right next to California in Las Vegas, and Florida has apparently never hosted a national LP convention.
