"Livable City" Donations pour in

We need to generate some donations too, I guess, if we are to set ourselves against the "non-profits" who are pushing the legislative process. Scroll down to "Legislation" to see what is coming.

(If the link does not work, just Google "Livable City San Francisco.")

This is different than police-powers over private property.

The statutes that provide for the police-power over property must be the focus. Non-profits and everyone else are free to do whatever. They are not the problem.

Do C and E provide police powers?

Yes, I agree; except when "non-profits" serve as the mouthpieces for promoting legislation -- police powers.

Marcy

Marcy,
Do you have the text for the measures?

John…you can find this yourself by going to the SF Gov website Department of Elections section anytime you need to get this kind of info

http://sfgov2.org/ftp/uploadedfiles/elections/candidates/Nov2012/Nov2012_SanFranciscoHousingTrust-CharterAmend.pdf for C

http://sfgov2.org/ftp/uploadedfiles/elections/candidates/Nov2012/Nov2012_BusinessandTaxRegCode-Ord.pdf for E

Mike

For a summary of all city propositions, check out our website www.lpsf.org There you will also find a link to the Department of Elections text of all propositions. BTW, Pop E is 70 pages long.

Marcy

Marcy,
Excellent! Thanks.
