Leading Chinese Dissident & Freedom Champion, Liu Xiaobo, has died – Free Liu Xia!

China's most famous dissident, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2010 while in jail, has died under hospital arrest, of cancer that his regime captors allowed to go untreated. The New York Times has an obituary story about him here:

  The passage of this brave man is a reminder that the cause of freedom is worldwide, and that there are many people around the world who may never have heard of libertarianism or the Libertarian Party but are nonetheless champions and martyrs in that struggle. Liu is survived by his wife, Liu Xia, who evidently remains under house arrest. Here the BBC tells of the couple's love story, and the suffering she has undergone:
