Thanks for posting this. I wish we had somebody on our team with the institutional knowledge h. brown has about this city's government. It's no substitute for understanding the big picture from a libertarian perspective, which h. doesn't get by a long shot, but it takes people paying this kind of attention to really hold government accountable.
I'd like to see us spend more time on this list discussing the nitty-gritty of local politics. One good thing about running for office is it forces you to educate yourself, but we should be trying to educate each other. The more we understand how the system works locally, the better position we'll be in to effect pro-freedom changes.
