Thank you for the post, Michael. It was interesting to me that in Ron
Paul's Campaign for Liberty bash a few months ago, libertarian giants
like Lou Rockwell shared the event with the leader of the Birch
Society (please forgive me for forgetting his name). I am not as
knowledgeable about the Birchers as some of you, but I would be
interested in ways that we could outreach to them if feasible.

Wikipedia describes the John Birch Society as having common ground with
libertarianism, so I would expect the LP to have former Birchers as
part of
its makeup.
