For those not on the Commonwealth Club list. We received the announcement below, which I think will be of interest to the many second amendment supporters on this list. Mr. Waldman appears to think the Constitution is just a decorative piece, according to the write up of his talk on the Commonwealth website: "Waldman argues that our view of the amendment is set, at each stage, not by a pristine constitutional text, but by the push and pull, the rough and tumble of political advocacy and public agitation." (The text does not capitalize "constitutional".) If some of you can attend, maybe you can hope there is a Q&A period!
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 6:00 pm. $20 for non-members of the Commonwealth Club, and $12 for members.
