Are you sure the name of that all-night show is Coast to Coast? I
thought it was Ghost to Ghost. 
But yeah, I just read about
that book somewhere too, it sounds pretty good. As I've learned more
about history, some of the luster has definitely come off the Founders
as far as I'm concerned. Of course the whole slavery issue, but beyond
that, it seems those who came up with the Constitution really were
moving the country *away* from libertarianism rather than towards it.
There are some good representatives on the LNC, but also a lot of
folks who shouldn't be there, imho. I'm not even going to comment on
the mess in Oregon until I know better what's going on. As far as our
Bylaws though, I think to avoid being similarly tripped up by someone
wanting to throw Robert's Rules of Order at us, we simply need to
explicitly set a quorum. I'd say five people might be a good minimum
number of people to require be present in order to conduct party
business, based on recent turnout, or as few as three if all three are
officers.
