We can all compete to see who's more ideologically pure. Libertarian Purity Test
I got an 87.
Cool. I got 122. But I have to take issue with the wording of some
of the questions -- e.g., "Do we spend to much on X?" instead of "Does
the government spend to much on X?" The government -- funded by taxes
-- spends too much on everything; "we" -- funded voluntarilty -- would
do well to spend more on plenty of things.
I've been sitting on a half-finished essay on anarchism for a while; I
should finish that up soon... I thought I was an anarchist for a long
time, and stayed out of politics because of it (never once voting
before last November). Then I got a little more interested in politics
and thought I might not be an anarchist anymore, and voted for the
first time, and joined a political party (this one). Then I heard
others in the Party and realized I'm still an anarchist, even more
completely and consistently than ever before.
I scored a 160! It was easy to do. This Libertarian "Purity" test is a snap. And reinforces the political need for an anarcho-revolution in American politics. We need to throw all the bums out and the sooner the better for everyone. Starting immediately with the morons at FEMA!!!
Try this political matchmaking test for a different way of gauging your politics. It's referred to as "The Political Matchmaking Test". When I originally took it several years ago I never knew there was such a thing as the Libertarian Party.
I finally found a political party through a political matchmaking happenstance whose beliefs were a mirror of my beliefs and matched them to a crossed "t" and the dotted "i".

Justin - I scored about the same and had many of the
same reactions to questions as you. In fact, I think
this is more of a test of anarcho capitalism than
libertarianism purity.
