Right! Why not simply and boldly advocate the separation of medicine and state. This more clearly conveys the libertarian love of freedom than do middle-way proposals (which Mises demonstrated are unstable anyway).
Once you get elected, you can then implement socialized medicine in exchange for your two items <joke>.

ambivalent about Aaron Star's proposal regarding nomination of
candidates at primaries vs. at conventions. Aaron's article is on
the latest issue of LPCA's California Freedom.
