Help Jim Gray get on the ballot! -- CORRECTED INFORMATION

Only signatures from registered Libertarians are valid,
and
the "Statement of Circulator" does NOT have to be notarized. Here

is the

corrected version of my message; please send it on to every CA

Libertarian

on your list.
______________________________________

Judge James Gray, an outspoken critic of the War on Drugs, has

unofficially

announced his intent to run for the US Senate seat currently held by
Barbara
Boxer. Jim is a very articulate candidate who would boost our

party's

credibility considerably. However, to get on the ballot he needs at

least

150 valid signatures from registered California voters (Libertarians

only).

Please go to the website linked below and print out a petition for

Jim Gray

(last listing in the table of candidates). Be sure to follow the

printing

instructions EXACTLY. Get as many qualified voters as you can to

sign the

petition, and then sign the "statement of circulator" yourself.

Then mail

the completed form to the LP of Orange County at the PO Box listed

on the

web page.

Time is short, so please do it today. Every signature counts, so

even if

you can only get one or two signatures in addition to your own, it's
worthwhile!

Thanks! And please relay this message to everyone on your CA e-mail

list!

So U.S. Senate petitions don't require different forms for each county? We
can fill out this Orange County one and mail it to Judge Gray, and it will
still be valid?

If we are going to sign petitions at Chris' house on Sunday, perhaps this could be one.

I've submitted a half dozen sigs on this form so far, and no complaints yet.
