I am sorry but you guys got it all wrong. It is clear that reading and
writing is not your forte. This is why you cannot win anything. What you
need to do is go back to school, take remedial reading and get your GED.
Halloran was convicted for one reason only. The reason was he paid $50,000
in cash, paper money. Whether is was a bribe or just a legitimate political
contribution would not have mattered. All he had to do was pay the $50,000
by check and no questions would have been asked about it. But he paid the
$50,000 to get Smith on the ballot as a Republican Party Candidate for New
York City Mayor in Cash.
Nowadays you cannot even buy a house or a car in cash. It must be by check.
Plus, you must be able to prove you got the money by legitimate means and
not by terrorism or drug dealing or prostitution or running a finger nail
parlor and you must be able to prove that you paid Obama and the IRS income
taxes on the money.
Because Halloran paid $50,000 in cash to get around all these requirements
that is the reason why he has been convicted and sentenced to 10 years in
prison.
