h. brown on lobbying against bond money for SPUR / Other stuff coming up at Tuesday's Board of Supervisors meeting

He says the issue will be discussed at the next Board of Supervisors meeting, which is Tuesday at 2 p.m. in City Hall room 250. Looking at the agenda (see http://www.sfgov.org/site/bdsupvrs_page.asp?id=71145 ) I see that they are also going to be discussing and/or voting on:

-tightening zoning to restrict where check-cashing businesses can locate
-implementing a municipal ID card (supposedly to help undocumented workers, but this isn't the way to do it)
-cracking down on people cooking, sleeping, etc., in city parks (more harassment of the homeless and criminalization of peaceful activities)
-putting more money into "affordable housing"
-hiring a health planner for the Public Health Department to meddle in the business decisions of local hospitals
